Tourism in Gjoa Haven

Gjoa Haven is home to several landmarks that make the community a popular destination for northern travellers. Closely tied to the Northwest Passage, this community holds many stories from the past from Elders and European explorers, including those from the famous Franklin Expedition.  The Nattilik Heritage Centre, the plaque and cairn dedicated to Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen, and the Northwest Passage Territorial Trail are must-sees.
